My volunteer work has allowed me to build relationships with children and adults with disabilities through sports, art, games, and shared activities.
I have spent the most time with Friendship Foundation, first as a volunteer and later as a summer counselor. I have also volunteered with Adrian’s Place and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.

Volunteer, 2022–Present · Summer Counselor, 2026
I have completed more than 35 hours of service with Friendship Foundation, where volunteers are paired one-to-one with children and young adults with disabilities. Through sports, arts and crafts, karaoke, and other activities, I have formed relationships with participants while helping each person join in at their own pace.
In 2026, I returned as a part-time summer camp counselor. I helped lead activities, support campers throughout the day, and create an environment in which each participant felt comfortable taking part.

Adrian’s Place
At Adrian’s Place, I helped organize dance parties, games, and meals for participants with disabilities. My role included setting up activities, welcoming participants, and helping events remain relaxed, social, and accessible.
Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy
I have also volunteered with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, removing invasive weeds that compete with native plants. The work gave me hands-on experience with habitat restoration and the patient, physical work required to protect local ecosystems.
